I knew Rosalie mainly from church and elementary school but was never close. I regret that because I know that she had some pretty hard growing up years. May she rest in peace and be remembered with grace.
When I graduated I moved to Oklahoma City and Rosalie was living there. We became roomies for nearly two years. I didn't know her very well during high school until right before graduation, but I have never laughed so hard as I did those two years we were roommates! She was so funny, and I hate it that we lost touch. I didn't know she had passed until I saw it here. She always called me "Bailey", and I called her "Rosie". I'm not Catholic, but I never missed going to Mass with her so she wouldn't have to go alone.
Rosalie and I were best friends in high school and we had some great times. I called her Kurtz and she called me Russell. We lost touch for awhile after high school. She moved to Oklahoma City and I was living in New Jersey at the time. We reconnected in the mid 90's when I traveled to Oklahoma city on business. I truly miss her.
I knew Rosalie from grade school at St. Vincent's in Pampa through PHS. She was quiet but very intelligent and witty. She made good grades, was always kind and thoughtful. We lost track after High School and I just learned of her death from this website.
As I began helping the reunion team in locating people, Rosalie became one of the ones I wanted to locate and visit. We were together in the first grade at Holy Souls Catholic School. She was one of few that I remembered. When I called her brother Greg I was heartbroken to find she had passed away from Breast Cancer a few years back. She left behind her husband and 2 sons. Blessings of comfort to the family she left behind.
