Givens, RICK was born, June 29, 1952 in Knoxville, Tennessee and passed from this life on April 7, 2005 in Rockwall, Texas. Mr. Givens was preceded in death by his father James Willis Givens. He is survived by his children; Josh Givens, Eric Givens and Kit Givens, his mother Doris Givens, sister Glenda Heil, sister Sheila Riddle, brother Dennis Givens, brother David Givens, sister Tina Trejo, sister Jackie Perry and ten nieces and nephews. The family would like to recognize Charlie Henderson a longtime mentor and personal friend of the Givens family. Rick was a devoted and loved father and family member who always put his children above everything else. As President of Northwest Construction Company he was known and respected throughout the business community for his integrity and honesty. Family will gather Sunday & Monday evening from 6p.m. - 8p.m. at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home Chapel for the receiving of friends and business associates. A memorial service for Rick will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at the Salvation Army Dallas Temple Corp, 6500 Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas. All friends and family are welcome.
