Big Jim:  Victim of Life's circumstances.  Last saw Jim with Bill Britton in 1995.....he was regular around town...working in the "oil patch."  Not sure as to details in passing...but always sad when one dies young....I will never forget the abuse he took from "Swede" Lee as a player of PHS football team.  Big Jim was mainly used for the practice squad, and he always tried his best.  He never could satisfy the coaches.....he was always the fall guy for their anger.....to this day, I vividly remember the last football practice I witnessed...."Swede" was mad as usual and it was punishment time.....the coaches called it the "bull ring"...Big Jim was placed in the middle (circled by the other players)......the coaches called players names at random....and allowed free hits (attack) on the player in the middle.   Big Jim took two or three in the back while being hit from the front..."Swede" was exceptionally sadistic that day and called names non stop for way too long.....I could no longer tolerate the insanity....I quit as manager the next day....God rest his soul as he deserved better.....
