Wow, since 1970. That really sounds like a long time ago, and I guess it is. Larry and I married in 1973 in Pampa. I was able to stay home with my kids until my youngest was 5, and then I worked as a medical transcriptionist for over 20 years. We moved to Bartlesville in 1997 and love it here. It's amazing, however, that we still consider Pampa "home". I decided to go back to school and will become an occupational therapy assistant this May. It's a job I absolutely love and at a time Larry is ready to retire, I am starting a new career. I have not attended a class reunion in all these years, so I am really looking forward to this one. |

, I certainly wasn't a good student. Remember Mrs. Wilson the Algebra teacher? She hated me the moment I walked in the door the first day of class! My favorite memory is walking down the hall with Nita Marlar and her "fall" got caught on this guy's belt buckle and pulled it right off of her head. She marched back to the guy and grabbed her fall and said, "Stupid!". The guy never knew what was going on. It was hilarious! Sorry, Nita. |
