It's been so fun emailing and talking to so many of my childhood friends. If any of you want to get away and see some beautiful scenery, Yellowstone, Glacier, Jackson Hole....come see me. Would be so fun to catch up.

Terry (Ann)  I dropped Ann when I left Pampa....it's so funny to hear people call me Terry Ann...it takes me back with good memories.

Thanks Courtland, it has been fun locating classmates we had not heard from in 40 years. Honey and claudia have made many, many calls all over and visited with our classmates. Our problem is that after visiting many, do not follow through and log on to the web site. We would like to encourage everyone to call someone that has not logged on and put a little pressure on them to do this. Even if they are not coming to the reunion, if they will fill out the profile it will make it easier for the next one and give us a chance to see where they are now. The agenda is on the reunion page and if anyone has any suggestions please contact one of us. we have talked about a tribute of sort for our deceased classmates but no details have been laid out as of yet. We are still meeting every Thursday night at 7pm at the coffee shop on Cuyler. Any and everyone is invited to stop in and help or just visit.

Terry Curtis Wilemon

Hi to all my classmates from the class of '70.  How good it is to see your faces and hear about your lives.

I AM LOOKING FOR PICTURES OF CAMERON MARSH!  Please, if anyone has any, could you send them to me??  You could send them by email (sculptor@wilemon.net), you could put them up on this website and perhaps i could figure out how to print them or you could send them to me and I'll make good copies and send them back.  My home address is:  17800 Serene Hills Pass  Austin, TX 78738.

Or if you have a question for me about whether you should send it or whatever, just call me 512.261.0600

In case you wonder why, Kay & Tom Neslege, Rick Fry, Randy Marsh, Tom Hawkins, Chuch Lanehart and Moss Hampton are trying to talk me into sculpting a bust of Cameron.  Spent the day organizing the pictures that we have of him and the ones that are in the yearbook, but I could always use more.  I thought that some of you might have a profile picture of him from our graduation.  Then I remembered that was the night of the tornado!  Neslege recalled that by the time they got to calling the R, S, T's that they were almost throwing the diplomas into the audience!

So, if you will look through your "old stuff" and see what you have, I will be forever grateful.  I know I can count on you guys!

Jim Gallman has found an old newspaper from the day after our graduation and wanted to share that with us. At our committee meeting we thought that we could set up a couple tables and if anyone had any items they have kept all these years and wanted to display them, we could do that. Be sure to put your name on the item so it gets back to you.

A friend emailed this message to me recently...what timing!

Is anyone from the Austin area going to the reunion? I am flying to Austin on the 13th to see friends and family, but will have to rent a car to drive to the reunion on Thursday or Friday, coming back Sunday? Anyone want to share the ride?  Also, are there any single women who want to share a room?

Just wondering...

You guys have done a marvelous job with this reunion.  I click on every so often to catch up, and I'm so impressed.  I am really sorry I'm not going to be able to attend this year.  At first, I was not so interested, but the more I read, the more the details were outlined, the more I got interested.  I've been gone from Pampa for so long, and I never really kept up with anyone, but now I would like to come see everyone.  I hope ya'll have a great time.  Super Job!

Bob Jeffers and I ate at the Coney Island today and guess what, they have lined the walls with photos from our class annual. I had contacted them last week and told them about the reunion and they said they would do something special and they sure did.

A special thanks to all that are putting the reunion together!  Bev and I are here at the Holiday Inn Express.  Plans tonight are to attend Texas if we get tickets and it is showing.  Lots of rain there yesterday.  We drove in from Corpus Christi.  Sorry we missed the request for a ride from Austin.  We could have helped!  361-688-1380

What a great weekend!  Thanks to everyone that worked so hard to make this a "memory makin' time"!   It was so good to see everyone and renew friendships and make new friends as well.  What blesssings you all were to me for the past 3 days.  I still don't feel like I got to visit as much as I wanted to or even got around to everyone I wanted to visit with!   ;-)    How does that saying go?  "I'm drinking from my saucer because my cup is overflowing."  That's sums up how I feel.  I'm so "filled up" right now; maybe that will get me through to the 45th!

"Pampa, the cradle that we grew in" will be one of my favorite quotes from this weekend.  Thanks Dr. Jay Losher.

Love to all of you!

I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed the weekend.  I am so thankful that I made the decision to go.  It was so great to visit with old friends and make some new ones.  Every event was so much fun but I will have to say that Sunday morning was the best for me and my husband.  To be able to praise and worship Jesus with people that I have known since I was 6 years old was so awesome.  The band was great and the singers really touched my heart and my spirit.  The memorial service for our deceased classmates was particularly moving for me.  I didn't get to visit as much as I wanted to with some of my old classmates but I hope we can keep in touch via e-mail and this wonderful website.  I would like to add my personal thanks to the reunion committee for such an awesome weekend.  Honey Jo, Bobby, Randy, Billy, Ronnie, Claudia, Kathy, Lyndon and any one else I left out, you guys were terrific.  I can't thank you enough.  Hope to see each and every one of you at the next reunion!  I pray good health and happiness for you all.  Until we meet again, walk with God and serve Him with all of your heart.

Gail

I just wanted to express a great big thanks for everyone's participation in all the activities. This last weekend was such a great time for Joycee and me, that I didn't want it to end. We had a number of great visits and tons of laughs. It was fun to recognize some of those "life's little moments" as they occurred. There was more than one!

Life is good and I am rich because of family and friends.

Hi, Y'all!

I had a GREAT time last weekend!  Thanks so much to everyone who made it possible, you did an excellent job, and all the care and planning showed.  It was so good to re-connect, and the only thing I am sorry about is that I did not get to talk to more of you.  I am very thankful that I came, and that so many of my good friends came, too.  Kudos to Kathy Lewis Biggers for that.

I am also thankful that John Jenkins did not embarass me in such an inappropriate manner as he did so many others.  I told him he needed to apologize to everyone, but he just laughed.  I find myself wishing that he could be removed from our website and permanently blocked; perhaps this is un-Christian of me, but I don't think I am the only one who feels this way.  Is this possible?

Anyway, we will get home today, but I have many great memories and photos to reminisce over.

To those that planned and organized this reunion, I was absolutely blown away! It was way beyond my expectations. The memorial service really touched me and the Sunday service blew my socks off. I had no idea we had such professional talent in our class. The singing and the band really made for a great worship service for me. I visited with some dear old friends and met some new ones that I never knew in HS. This was without a doubt one of the most pleasurable events that I have ever attended. I love you guys and I just have to say the class of 70 may be around 58yrs old, but we're still the coolest and hottest looking group that ever graced the halls of old PHS. Can we do this again next weekend guys? There are so many people that I wanted to visit with but missed.

With love and respect,

Courtland French

Thanks to the reunion organizers for a great time! You all did an outstanding job. Even my wife had a good time!

It was really great to see so many people I had not seen since graduation night 1970. It's been a busy 40 years for us all, and it was good to reconnect to old friends and classmates.

Thanks for letting me be a part of your celebration.  Your reunion committee did a great job and I enjoyed seeing old friends.  I've posted a few pictures here, but if you want to see them all go to dellamoyer.smugmug.com.  If you want to order a class photo, CD or DVD send me an email dellamoyer@yahoo.com and I'll send you the details.  Again, thanks and God bless!

I had such a great time at this reunion. Thank you to the committee for such a fabulous job. Thanks also to my dearest friends for showing up! After 40 years the connections are still there, and they are just as tight as they were then. Love you all!

Hats off to the reunion committee of Bob Jeffers, Randy Stubblefield, Ron Hadley, Honey Kemph, Steve Phelps, Bill Roy, and Lyndon Field.  Thank you all for a wonderfully organized and well planned event.  From the diligent effort that you all made to contact "lost sheep" to the perfect end at Stoke's Barn with breakfast puncuated by the worship service directed by our own classmates, it was easy to see that this event was your labor of love.  I was warmly blessed by your fine efforts that provided the opportunity to once again enjoy the company of "the best that'll ever be". Again a warm and sincere thanks to you all.

I appreciate the note from Bobby tonight with the committee's apology regarding the "off color gift presentations" last Saturday night.  I felt badly for those who were spot lighted.  Those "gifts" took up about 45 minutes, which was 50 minutes too long.  That was not the time or place for such a presentation.  That time could and should have been used for visiting, dancing and sharing memories.  The presenter should be the one making apologies, not the committee.

I had a great time last weekend.  It was great to see so many of you.  We are very fortunate to have the type of friends and classmates to put forth the effort to plan, promote and coordinate  such a fun weekend.  Thanks again to the committee for all your hard work.

I just want to thank the reunion committee for all of their hard work, obvious care and untold hours of organizing this past weekend.  As I climbed on board the airplane in Amarillo Sunday morning headed back to Louisiana, I thought of all of you at the worship service.  I left with a heart full of thankfullness that I grew up in Pampa.  You have enriched my life.  It was such fun to re-connect and to catch up on the last 40 years with so many of you.  As far as the "episode" Saturday night, no apologies are necessary from the reunion committee.  John is the only one responsible for his actions.  I wish him well and hope he realizes that he really needs to "grow up."  Until we meet again--

It's been two weeks and the reunion is still constantly on my mind. I have attended all four and this one was so much better than the others.

I am still amazed at the number of classmates attending for the first time.  Everyone one of them I talked to explained that life had simply gotten in the way on all other occasions.  That is sad, but I know it is true.

My unmeasurable accollades to all members of the Reunion Committee.  To think that Bob Jeffers has been on the committee two reunions in a row.  Is that commitment or a need to be committed LOL

I was honored to represent one of our lost classmates and was very impressed by the piper.  That is my idea of the music played at the pearly gates.

My condolences to John at the loss of his mother.  Even though I thought he embarrassed himself and many classmates, I have many fond memories from childhood with John as my neighbor across the street and his mother being in the middle of the situations whenever necessary.

I look forward to five years.  Lets pray that the lost classmates list does not grow too drastically and that we can add an additional number of classmates to the sttendees list like we did this year.  My plans are to be back in Amarillo by that time, but, even if that is not the case, I want to help!!!!

Your friend forever,

Richard
