So, here is the Harvester Class of 1970 Challenge
The Class of 1970 has already secured gift pledges of $7,000 from several classmates.
The Class challenge is to MATCH these gifts to raise at least $14,000 for Pampa Schools by the end of 2011. These tax deductible gifts from our class will go to the Pampa Educational Foundation’s Endowment Fund.
The Pampa Education Foundation (PEF) was created to support and enhance the education of all students in Pampa Schools. The PEF board of directors represents a cross-section of Pampa alumni and citizens who are dedicated to education and share a vision for excellence in Pampa's public schools. What will your gift do?
Fund:
Science laboratory equipment, including electronic generators
Maps, globes, graphic calculators and electronic dictionaries
Computers, laptops and software
Books and other resource material
Disability awareness curriculum and adaptive equipment

Teacher development
Fine arts sponsorships, symphony visits to Amarillo
Field trip funds
Other electronic equipment
